Bokhara Rugs are classic Turkoman designs originally created by nomadic tribes in India. Bokhara Rugs are among the most popular handmade rugs widely produced in Pakistan, India & Afghanistan. There foundation and heavy pile consist of wool, and have a soft luxurious feel. There unique designs consist of repeating geometric designs and vary from one tribe to another. Designs are commonly dark blue/navy, black, brown, or red with ivory accents.
