16×24Two 20″ squares and a lumbar
On a short sofa, fewer and larger reads calmer than many small. Leave a hand’s width at each arm.
Two 24″ outside, two 20″ inside, a lumbar at the centre
The classic five. Step down from the arm inward so the eye travels to the middle.
Two 26″ euros, two 20″, one lumbar
A deep, long seat takes euros at the ends. Keep the centre low so conversation stays open.
Seven: 24″, 20″, 18″ each side, a lumbar at the centre
Odd numbers settle a long run. Mirror the sizes exactly and vary only the cloth.
One euro, one 20″, one lumbar
A single euro against the wall does the work of a headboard.
Two euros, two 20″, one lumbar
The euros should just meet the mattress edge, with no overhang.
Two euros, two 24″, one lumbar
Sleeping pillows sit behind the euros, out of sight.
Three euros, two 24″, one lumbar
Three euros make a wall of cloth; the lumbar is where you add the pattern.
