The insert
Cover and insert, in one
Most of our pillows arrive filled: the handmade cover over a feather-and-down insert in a 233-thread-count cotton case. Where a piece comes without one, its page says so; spare inserts are sold on their own.
04 — The making
Three steps, one pillow

01 — Weave Hand-loomed velvet Silk velvet woven by hand and coloured with vegetable dyes, so every length reads a little differently. -
02 — Back Cotton, zipped A natural cotton back with a hidden zip, so the face carries the whole pillow. -
03 — Fill Feather-down inside A down-feather insert that keeps its shape on a sofa, season after season.
05 — On finishing a room
A room is finished in the last ten percent — and the last ten percent is almost always cloth.

How many, how big, in which order
An 84-inch sofa takes five: two 24″ outside, two 20″ inside, one 16×24 lumbar at the centre. Hover any size to see it on the seat at true scale, beside the sizes either side — dashed lines map each height.
