Interior Designer's Point of View

This is one of those pillows I would consider a design workhorse. Its strength isn't simply that it's black and white; it's the scale of the graphic pattern.

On an ivory, cream, white, oatmeal, or bouclé sofa, I would use this as the visual anchor. Pair it with solid ivory, camel, chocolate, or muted olive pillows rather than adding several competing patterns.

On a black or charcoal sofa, the ivory areas prevent the pillow from disappearing into the upholstery and create a sophisticated tonal composition.
