Against a brilliant fuchsia-magenta ground, a graphic black-and-ivory zebra and golden spotted leopard move through lush emerald-green tropical foliage. The composition feels playful yet sophisticated, creating the kind of statement piece that can transform an otherwise restrained room with a single accent.

The design is woven into the silk velvet rather than simply printed onto the surface, giving the imagery remarkable texture, depth and variation. As light moves across the velvet pile, the jewel-toned colors shift subtly in intensity, highlighting the handcrafted nature of the textile.

Designer's Point of View

This is not a background pillow, and I wouldn't try to make it one. It should be treated almost like a small piece of textile art.

The strongest designer strategy is to surround it with quieter materials and pull one or two colors from the textile into the rest of the room.

On an ivory or cream boucle sofa, this pillow becomes an instant focal point. Pair it with solid emerald, deep raspberry, ivory or even chocolate velvet pillows.

On a camel or cognac leather sofa, the golden leopard creates a beautiful visual connection with the leather while the fuchsia and green provide unexpected contrast.

On a deep green sofa, the foliage integrates naturally into the upholstery while the pink ground becomes the statement.

It can also be spectacular against navy, charcoal or black upholstery for a moodier, fashion-forward room.
