About this piece
Serapi rugs are a style of Persian rugs deriving from northwest persia Serapi rugs are among the most desirable rugs, due to their durable nature under heavy wear and tear. Weavers of Serapi rugs often portray geometric patterns or medallions in their designs. They often have an antique style, and come in a vast variety of colors. Serapi rugs are hand knotted from thick piles of wool, which gives them a soft plush feel.
