Gabbeh rugs are most likely some of the most popular hand-knotted oriental rugs. Made by Ghashghai nomads of Persia and knotted in India, these floor coverings are for the most part exceptionally straightforward in their designs and contain just a couple of decorations. What's more, they are frequently influenced by motifs in nature. In this respect their name isn't coincidental and is called Gabbeh in Persian "natural".
